Pengendalian Hayati Penyakit Layu Fusarium Tanaman Buah Naga Merah (Hylocereus Costaricensis) Oleh Trichoderma Sp.

Serangan penyakit layu Fusarium merupakan salah satu kendala utama pengembangan dan peningkatan produksi buah naga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi fungi Trichoderma sp sebagai pengendali hayati penyakit layu Fusarium pada tanaman buah naga merah. Penelitian telah dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan rancangan percobaan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan aplikasi Trichoderma sp dan fungisida kimia yang masing-masing diulang 10 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Trichoderma dengan konsentrasi 20-35 g per tanaman dapat mengendalikan intensitas serangan Fusarium sp. Intensitas serangan penyakit layu Fusarium pada tanaman buah naga merah yang diberi 35 g per tanaman mempunyai kategori tingkat kerusakan ringan sama dengan penggunaan 1,25 g per tanaman fungisida kimia. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Trichoderma dapat digunakan sebagai pengendalian hayati penyakit layu Fusarium. Penelitian merekomendasikan untuk menggunakan Trichoderma dengan konsentrasi 35 g per tanaman.
